General Description

The ACME Models GS10 & GS23 Grapple / Slack Pulling Combo Carriages are built with the same durability, reliability, and toughness you have come to expect from an ACME carriage for 25-years. These carriages feature T-1 steel construction, are powered by a fully enclosed air-cooled diesel engine in either 10 hp for the Model GS10 or 23 hp for the Model GS23 and are Talkie Tooter® digital radio controlled. The Grapple / Slack Pulling Combo Carriage features our patented skyline clamp with replaceable aluminum jaws, 8” (GS10) or 10″ (GS23) skyline sheaves, incorporates our patented hydraulic slack pulling system as well as our hydraulic grapple system, and readily passes over intermediate supports during operation.

These carriages feature our exclusive ACME onboard wireless camera system with an available repeater to ensure video signal even when the carriage is not in the line of sight. The high-resolution picture is large and in charge with the 19″ monitor.

The ACME grapples have been designed from the ground up and are available in 70″, 80″, 94″ and 96″ opening sizes. They feature a full 360° rotation and are fully hydraulic. Our easy to operate grapple controls can be attached to the joysticks in your yoader or yarder cab for easy access and carriage operation.

The GS10 and GS23 are able to be used as a grapple carriage one turn and a slackpuller the next turn without removing any grapples, no changes needed!
